Questions about switching

Will our current system be disrupted while you migrate?
No — we bring your records into SchoolTrendz without touching your live system, and that school only switches over, in one step, once you've reviewed the reconciliation report.
What if we're not on PHP/MySQL software?
You can still move in with a spreadsheet (CSV) import for students, teachers, guardians, fee invoices and exam marks, using our ready-made templates.
Do you carry over our saved passwords and card numbers?
Passwords are upgraded to modern hashing the first time each person signs in. Stored card numbers and payment-gateway secrets are deliberately not carried over — SchoolTrendz never needs to hold them. See our security and privacy page.
Can we go back if something goes wrong?
Yes. A school that has just switched over can be switched back to its old system while any issue is sorted out.
Do all our schools have to move at once?
No. Each school moves in its own all-or-nothing step, on its own timeline — useful if you run more than one school.
